Vineyards and vines:
This superb wine was produced from 45 year old low-yielding bush vines located in the mountain vineyards approximately 10 kilometres from the sea. After vigorous selection on the vine only the best bunches were hand picked. The free-run juice from the tight bunches of perfectly ripened, small berried grapes was fermented with natural vineyard yeasts in French oak barrels. Thereafter is was racked, lightly filtered and bottled without being stabilized.
The wine is in perfect balance with complex flavours on the nose, a rich concentrated mouth-feel with marvellous depth, flowery mid-palate, and layers of tropical fruit culminating in a long lingering finish.
